|Not My Will But Thine|
|Although my boat is tempest tossed
upon life's raging sea, "Not my will but thine
be done" is my earnest plea.
|With battered sails from wind and rain, in you
I'll fully trust. You'll keep me safe in all
life's storms with every gale and gust.
|Through the storm and through the night, my
boat will travel on, and this I know, that up
ahead awaits the light of dawn.
|Finally, when the wind grows still and you
calm the raging sea, I'll know I've grown through
struggling, and will have learned to trust in thee.
|So, not my will but thine be done, this is
my earnest plea. In the midst of troubled times,
Dear Lord, I'll wait and hope on thee.
